Sole possession of first place in the Empire Football League will be on the line when the Utica Yard Dogs host the Hudson Valley Mountaineers at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sauquoit Valley High School.
Both teams are 3-0 in Empire Football League play.
Utica won its third consecutive game to improve to 4-1 overall in its inaugural semi-pro football season. Last weekend, the Yard Dogs shut out the Tri City Spartans of Schenectady 24-0.
