North Stars take down Spartans 35-6

SCHENECTADY — The Plattsburgh North Stars piled up three rushing touchdowns and two more in the air in their 35-6 road victory against the Tri-City Spartans Saturday in Empire Football League action.
 
The North Stars (3-2) scored once in each of the first three quarters before adding two more touchdowns against the Spartans (1-4) in the fourth frame.
 
“Very happy to get out of there with a nice road victory,” Plattsburgh coach Scott Aguglia said. “They had a real solid squad. They were very quick on defense, and they played well.”
