Stags win home opener to go to 2-0

NEWTON -- Ben Cramer felt right at home carving up the Plattsburgh North Stars defense.
The Sussex Stags running back was back on the field where he had torched numerous Sussex County opponents during his days at Newton.

Two years later, exact same turf, exact same result.

Cramer, a 2014 Newton graduate, supplied the offensive punch for the Stags, carrying 13 times for 117 yards and four touchdowns, including three in the first half, to lift them to a 36-14 victory over Plattsburgh on Saturday night at Newton High School.
