In their first season in the Empire Football League, the Syracuse Strong made history on Saturday night at Nottingham. After trading off wins this season, Syracuse was able to hold of Watertown 14-6 to secure its first EFL Title.
The Strong finish their season at (9-3). In the rubber match of two closely matched teams, the Strong ran out the clock in the fourth quarter to hang on for the championship. Take a closer look at the final moments of the contest from Saturday night.
