NEWTON, N.J. — Playing without their best offensive players, the Plattsburgh North Stars fall to the Sussex Stags 27-6 Saturday.

According to coach Scott Aguglia, starting quarterback Harry Rascoe wasn’t able to make the trip due to personal reasons, and “something that came up last-minute” kept leading receiver Tory Bouyea from traveling.

Plattsburgh’s defense kept the game relatively close, forcing six turnovers, but the offense’s inability to move the ball and take advantage of those turnovers led to the North Stars’ second loss of the Empire Football League season.
