The Empire Football League recently held its Annual Meeting in Binghamton, New York and announced the addition of the Sussex Stags from Augusta, New Jersey. Since that time, another new franchise from Syracuse, the Syracuse Strong has joined the EFL bringing league total to six teams. Now in its 46th year of operation, the Empire Football League is also one of the oldest semipro/minor league football organizations in the nation.

The 2015 EFL season will start July 11th, has a bye September 5th and ends September 26th. The EFL Playoffs will begin on October 3rd and conclude with the EFL Championship Game on October 10th.

2015 Empire Football League Officers were elected as follows:
